Thank you, Mums!
With Mother's Day having just passed, we take this opportunity to open the newsletter with a heartfelt thank you to all our mothers. May Jesus continue to be your rock and strength.
Last Saturday, the children had the chance to make a card for their mum. They had a lot of fun doing this, and we believe their mum was happy to receive it on Mother's Day.

Jesus is Risen!
The event we held on Holy Saturday at both centres was wonderful. The children acted out the crucifixion and resurrection of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The play depicted Jesus taking all our sins to the cross. The children also danced and sang. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed refreshments, including treats from Top Choco Ghana. We were blessed with a great audience, which included CEO Patricia A. Kumoji and her team from the Patricia-Varga Int. Foundation.

Easter Monday Kindness!
On Easter Monday, we were blessed with a visit from Fruitful Army International Ministries, founded by Rev. Light Koranteng. Within the church, there is a ministry called the Kalon Experience. They blessed us with many food items and clothing. The foodstuffs were a timely blessing, as the children enjoyed nutritious meals throughout our recent Vacation Classes. Thank you!

Caring for God's Creation!
Every year, we make a point of planting a tree around Earth Day, which falls on 22nd April. This year, we planted an Ethiopian apple tree.
It is important that we all do our part in taking care of the earth.

Learning in full swing!
Classes continue in both locations, and there is never a dull moment. One of the topics the older children were learning during the Vacation Classes at the centre was the Digestive System. Meanwhile, in the North, the children are actively working on their maths, languages, and computer knowledge. There’s always plenty of learning, laughter, and fun as the children grow in knowledge and confidence.

A Joyful Visit!
We recently had the honour of welcoming NZ High Commissioner Michael Upton, Policy Adviser Olansis M. Wolde (NZ Embassy Addis Ababa), and NZ Consul Nicholina Annor-Adjei. They visited to see the impact of the HEF fund donation from the NZ Aid Programme that we received last year, which funded the upgrades to our solar power system, laptops, fans, and centre insurance. It was a truly special time.

Message from Jeanette!
Words cannot express my gratitude to all who have supported us this past month. We have our monthly gems who, through thick and thin, keep on keeping on. Then there are those who really take us by surprise. May God bless you all.

This past Sunday, my home church, Akwapem Interdenominational Church (AIC), truly blessed us by presenting a cheque for a very generous amount. We are deeply grateful for this support, truly a Godsend. A heartfelt thank-you to the leadership and entire congregation of AIC for your prayers and support.
