2025 Six-Week Reading Program!
|
Our reading program is going well and there are children moving up levels so quickly. Last Friday marked the end of the third week. We are so grateful for the volunteers who have been helping, but we do need more volunteers to support this event. If you're in the area and you're keen to help, please get in touch with us.

Save the Bees!
|
We all have a part to play in looking after Mother Earth. Leaving it to someone else is not the answer. Planting flowers everywhere, reducing the use of insecticides, or avoiding them altogether will help save the bees.
|

The earth is the LORD'S, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Psalm 24:1,2

Northern Centre!
|
Classes in the North continue to go well. One group of Fulani children has moved far away, so we’ve had to let them go. However, with that space, we’ve planned to add another day of classes for our regular Fulani children, meaning they will now have classes three times a week. They’ll be excited to hear this when they find out tomorrow. The other news is that we have now boarded up the back of our small pavilion. It has greatly improved things.

Plastic sent for recycling!
|
"Out of sight, out of mind" is exactly what's happening with plastic waste. A bin is filled and taken away, but the reality is that it goes somewhere. We must all consciously reduce our use.
|
|
The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small and for destroying those who destroy the earth. Revelation 11:18

A Glorious Harvest!
|
With our ongoing meals and snacks provided to the children at both centres, we are so grateful for all donations that come in, as well as for the harvest from the farm.
|
|
That said, we do need help on the farm, so if you're looking for an adventure and love working on the land, get in touch. We would love to hear from you!

Look what's ahead!
|
On Saturday, 5th July, we will celebrate the winners and all participants of our 2025 Reading Program. You’re welcome to join us!
|
After that, we’ll begin preparing for the Mathematics Competition, which will be held at both centres at the end of July. Then, we’re excited to celebrate our 20th Anniversary in August. There’s certainly a lot ahead, and we pray for God’s grace, favour, and provision as we prepare for it all.

Message from Jeanette!
|
By God’s grace, all is well. There have been challenges, as is the case everywhere, but by putting my trust in His Word, I have the peace and assurance that, whatever the situation may be, He is in control and remains faithful. I pray that if you are not yet reading the Scriptures, you will be inspired too.
|
|
Thank you to everyone who supports us. I am so grateful for all you do; it is an immense help to everything we carry out. May Jesus continue to bless you and keep you strong, happy, and healthy.
