We Are Twenty!

By God’s grace, our twentieth anniversary was wonderful. Special thanks to everyone who made this day a great success. The children performed a story titled “Abena and the Corn Seed,” which was about a young girl who cared for the environment, stood for the truth, finally had the opportunity to attend school, and was committed to prayer and Bible studies. At its heart, Abena was faced with a test of integrity. The play ended with the verse: “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God” (1 Samuel 2:2).
Thank you to Rev. Julius Coomson for sharing an encouraging message. We are also grateful to Katherine Yentumi for the beautiful anniversary cake, to Laurie Korum for the 200 delicious banana muffins, and to Shoprite Ghana for the drinks, bread, and other foodstuffs. A special thank you goes to Akosua Sarpong for the fruits, and to Elizabeth Karikari, Akosua Sarpong, and the team for preparing all the food. Thank also to GTS Drilling for your generous support. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate!

Faith & Learning Camp in two places!

The Faith & Learning Day Camp ended well. Two weeks before it finished, we decided to plan the same type of event at our branch in Northern Ghana. A poster was created (pictured below), and once they saw it, the children were eager to join. They enjoyed a Bible study in the first few chapters of 1 Samuel, explored the Rock Cycle, made toys and tools out of waste, and learned about Road Safety and Fire Safety. The camp closed with dancing and a fun bofrot and Top Choco party.

School Bag Donation!

We gave out the remaining 50 school bags filled with school supplies and hygiene products to the children who attend Children of the Light in Kitase, Eastern Region. They were so thankful.
Thank you, School in a Bag and Trashy Bags Africa, for your incredible support. Special thanks to Trashy Bags Africa Director, Elvis Aboluah, for your dedication and hard work in making this project a success.

Thank you so much!

A heartfelt thank you to GTS Drilling, Top Choco Ghana, Flora Tissue, Tango Prime Wash, and Shoprite Ghana for your generous support. You made our celebration extra special, and your help continues to make it possible for us to bless many. We are truly grateful. May God bless you!

Goods to Our Branch in Northern Ghana!

Once again, thanks to our generous donors, we were able to send a large sack filled with supplies: paper, gently used clothing, Top Choco, Top Choco instant chocolate drink, Tango Prime Wash, and Flora Tissue products. These items are a blessing to the children and families at our Northern Ghana branch.

Look what's ahead!

It’s almost World Cleanup Day! This year, we are planning a massive cleanup in two locations: one in the Eastern Region along the Aburi mountain road and the other in the North East Region at the Bulbia Market. We need volunteers, so if you’re in the area, do get in touch. Let’s make a difference together, mark your calendar!
This Saturday, 13 September, we will finally hold our Maths Competition in Kitase, Eastern Region. As mentioned in the August Newsletter, the competition in the North East Region went ahead successfully.

Message from Jeanette!

This past month has been full of surprises. The celebration and all that took place, including the donations, were truly only something God can do, a miracle. To God be the glory.
Thank you to everyone who supports us, whether in cash or in kind. We could not do what we do without you.
As we enter a new month, the work continues. Let us remember that if we trust Jesus, He will never let us down. Let’s keep trusting Him, our Rock and our Salvation. AMEN!
