Enjoy the photos and read ahead.

Joining World Cleanup Day!

We joined the global cleanup on World Cleanup Day. Together with the Christ Hands and Feet Foundation, we cleaned plastic waste alongside and in the stream that flows at the bottom of the land by the centre. Before the cleanup, the children enjoyed pancakes and a hot drink, and after the event, they enjoyed snacks
As stewards of the land, it is our duty to take care of God's creation, but are we doing that? Sadly, no! What can you do? Simply play your part!
The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden
to work it and take care of it. Genesis 2:15

Loving Mathematics!

It was a challenging mathematics competition at our centre in the North East Region.
The children had been divided into groups according to the class they were in at school. The winners received great prizes, which included the portable solar lights we had received from the Tema International School - CAS Initiative. The day ended with popcorn. There were a lot of children, but we managed to give some popcorn to all.

Off to School We Go!

As you may recall, we have been working with a group of Fulani children, preparing them for school. The teaching included learning to read the local dialect, reading and writing the basics in English and mathematics, enjoying plenty of stories, and having fun with arts and crafts. They are now in mainstream school and off to a good start. This is a wonderful praise, as it is not common for Fulani children to go to school.

Creative Hands at Work!

We started a new art project in which the children picked a Bible verse from a list of twenty verses. They then wrote out the words in large print on poster card. After completing this task, they used African fabric to turn it into a collage. It is a long process, but the outcome is beautiful. Once complete, the pieces will be painted over with white glue to seal them and give them a shiny effect.
Hopefully, we will share the completed projects in our next newsletter.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Reaping What You Sow!

Even though it's been the rainy season, the land has been extremely dry, actually to the point that the water tanks were empty expect one. Despite this challenge, we have still been able to harvest. The good news is that there was a downpour over the weekend that definitely brightened the day and week ahead. We hope for more rain to fill up all the tanks.

Sports & Bofrot!

Coming up is a day of sports at the centre in Kitase, and early next month we plan to hold the mathematics competition. We have not been able to accomplish this yet, as we needed more time to prepare the children. Additionally, our centre in the North East Region was not able to participate in the global cleanup event at that time due to various circumstances. This also will take place soon.

Message from Jeanette!

I am now visiting my dear mother in Australia. It's my first time seeing her since my brother passed. I will head back to Auckland later this month and then back to Ghana. It's been a busy time away. We recently completed our 2025 Annual Report and have now submitted all for our annual licence. You can find a copy of the annual report on the News page on our website.
I often get asked what it is like in Ghana. My answer is that Ghana is peaceful.
Peace is something that we cannot take for granted, as many do not have that peace in their country. Let us not stop praying for justice and righteousness for all who are oppressed. Remembering the words of the Psalmist: The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. Psalm 103:6
Finally, I would like to say thank you to everyone who supports us with prayer, a donation in kind, a monetary donation, or volunteering your time. It's because of you that we keep going. May God richly bless and keep you all!
