We celebrated our 21st!
By God's grace, we are celebrating 21 years! We marked the special day with cake and jollof rice. Traditionally, turning 21 is celebrated with the gift of a key, a gesture symbolising trust, maturity, and independence.
Pondering the symbol of a key brings to mind Revelation 3:20, where Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me."
These words offer a direct invitation to close fellowship and a restored relationship with Christ, and that is how we pray this to be for us.

Building the Future - Career Day!
The day was special as the children excitedly dressed up in a variety of attire to mark the occasion. We take this opportunity to thank the Patricia-Varga International Foundation, who graced the day with their presence. Mr. Fly, a team member from the foundation, spoke to the children and taught them so much about First Aid.

Awards Ceremony!
This was a great day for our centre in the North East Region. The winning children from the Reading Month Challenge back in June were awarded medals we received from Lisa Brown in Australia, as well as great prizes including Luke Light portable solar lights from Tema International School. After the ceremony, they enjoyed refreshments.

God Gives!
We received a visit from Wilma and Mike from God Gives, who blessed us with a generous and timely donation. With all that we do, this support is a immense blessing. They also gifted the children tote bags printed with God Gives - James 1:17: "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."

Plastic Sent For Recycling!
sending off a total of 41.78 kg.
What are we doing in our daily lives to reduce plastic waste? The responsibility belongs to every one of us. Lasting change happens when many people take action, and remember, it always starts with one.

Message from Jeanette!
Thank you to everyone who sent me condolences on the loss of my brother. I truly appreciate your kind words.
I am currently in Auckland, New Zealand, and I am thankful to be here. I will be working virtually while I am away.
I must say, it is such a blessing to be with my grandchildren again.

Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children. Proverbs 17:6

This past month, we sent one large box and three large sacks of school supplies, snacks, hygiene products, and gently used clothing to our centre in Northern Ghana.
I am soon launching an Instagram page called 'Prayers for Palestine'. I will share the link in the next newsletter for whoever feels led to be a part of this.
May Jesus continue to be your light and love, and again, I say thank you. Without your kindness, all that we do would not be possible. Together, we are making a difference!
